The Opportunity

Motili is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Project Manager for our Denver, CO office. The Project Manager works closely with the Director of Project Management to manage mid to high-level projects (e.g., currently 10 or more installations/asset tags/preventative maintenance cleaning, typically between $50k - $3M).  The Project Manager will be the primary liaison between Motili and the Client and the Contractor to ensure necessary information is relayed between all parties to provide answers and solutions so the projects can be completed effectively and efficiently within the terms of the agreements.  If you meet the qualifications listed below, then we invite you to apply for our open position by visiting our website http://careers.daikincomfort.com/ and submitting your resume.

 

Responsibilities

May include:

  • Understand client requirements for products and/or services provided by Motili and assists in appropriate actions to satisfy those requirements, including but not limited to: update client on progress, delays, or problems at the work site; disseminating product information on installed equipment; facilitating weekly progress phone calls; working with sales on client contracts.
  • Tracks project activities on a daily basis, using project management software.
  • Create project plans, including staffing plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Prepare required reports – ongoing tracking of goal attainment status for all targeted savings and operational improvements as identified by management other various reports as assigned.
  • Manage and review vendor and contractor invoices associated with projects, track those invoices against planned costs for overage or potential savings.
  • Manage permit applications, municipal inspections, and security and default corrections as needed.
  • Database Integrity – must note and update each work order with every interaction made pertaining to the address of that work order; included name of contact made, phone number or email address if applicable, the reason for the interaction and next steps. Monitors work orders for asset tagging assets, works with contractors to re-tag as needed; close out work orders once installation of equipment is complete and verified and Client close-out requests are completed.
  • Identify problems and Client satisfaction issues, expected to resolve and escalate to Motili Director of Project Management as needed.
  • Collaborate regularly and effectively via a variety of media with multiple departments regarding project activities, status and outcomes, and is the primary face between Motili and the Client.
  • Answers all incoming calls and email communications related to the project.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures as well as Federal, State and local regulations.
  • Demonstrate dependability and reliability by being punctual, working assigned projects and completing responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Interact politely and effectively with Clients, fellow employees and business partners.
  • Communicate with, listen to and signal others to effectively exchange information; receives or gives direction to contractors that Motili works with so that they understand fully what the project entails and what they need to do in order to complete the project, any special requests that the client has made or requires in order to close out the project; and effectively works independently as well as part of a team.
  • Work with Director of Project Management to maintain accurate process documentation for projects as they progress.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate account/client needs, including traveling to project sites or other locations to coordinate and resolve issues with Clients as needed. Travel is expected from a few days to week-long travel depending upon the size of the project and issues that arise, or on-site coordination needed.   
  • Maintain and keep the confidentiality of all Clients and company information in accordance with the confidentiality agreement signed at the commencement of employment with Motili.
  • Adhere to the organization’s culture related to respect for the individual, service to our Clients and striving for excellence.
  • Will be required to perform other job duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Order, track, and monitor installation of all HVAC or related equipment and parts, including calculating unit of measure per install and ensuring equipment costs do not exceed original project budget.
  • Schedule resident apartment access with local Client liaison, including a detailed project plan with dates for resident notices to be sent prior to entry into residences. Adjustment of this schedule as needed, for delays on the project due to weather or inability to access a residence on the scheduled date.
  • Develop change orders as needed for changes to original project scope or pricing for any reason; tracks change orders through Client sign-off and Motili counter-sign; works with accounting to include change orders in Client billing.
  • Arrange for delivery of additional project items, including but not limited to cranes, storage units, dumpsters, site safety equipment and signage, parts not supplied by Goodman COD locations or other Motili verified vendors,
  • Provide training for contractors on using the Motili app, including asset tagging, retiring previous assets, app interaction needed to make an installation complete.
  • Work closely with Finance to bill according to contract only for what was completed in that timeframe, including closing all work orders and tracking equipment installed to determine billing amount and date.
  • Use the Motili App on their phone on all jobsites for the following reasons: Asset Tagging project, photos of completed installations, photos of assets if no cell service at the project site, site inspections, equipment fitment, existing conditions on a jobsite, communication with Motili staff and clients while on a jobsite; unlimited data plan is required to ensure that slow service due to running out of data doesn’t impact project schedule.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

The additional activities which will require the person to assist others may include:

  •  

    Assist in upselling clients while on site.  Offering additional services to clients that Motili can perform to become their trusted
  • Identify improvement processes as necessary to maintain high quality, efficient, cost-saving processes across all tasks.

 

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of successful marketing and Client service experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred, though not required.
